- Stumbling Blokas i pointed out in one of my prev posts, lazlomail is fast n pretty easy to use. there seems to be one major stumbling blok though. the klient neither renders html by default nor provides for an option to do so. kummon growUp. most of the eMails i reccieve are html based. at first i thought this was a flash problem. mabbe html rendering was a no-no as that would require flash to replikate part of wht the browser also does. but a <a Some software developers will disagree with this and say there are better methods, but to this I point out: 1) RSS is robust enough that it's all you'll ever need nine times out of ten and 2) it's what you're going to offered automatically anyway, take it and get something done.

RSS creates the Web 2.0 information ecosystem by enabling interconnectedness, network effects, emergent behavior, and much more as well. And RSS doesn't demand control of the other end of the conversation. This is a big enabler all by itself and is a classic Web 2.0 force. By letting consumers of RSS use any tool or service they want on their side, barriers are eliminated and connectivity is encouraged.

i think this is stretchin RSS a lil bit too much. btw, a del.icio.us survey on what is web 2.0 based on del.icio.us/tag/web2.0 RSS fares pretty low at 2.5%zhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1131447449651298792005-11-08T02:54:00.000-08:002005-11-13T20:33:07.696-08:00the SOA triangulationthough i have read abundant marterial on webServices this kame as a first for me.

about a triangular relationship - producer, consumer and directory.

now, how kum i dint think of it that way?zhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1131282111864098582005-11-06T05:00:00.000-08:002005-11-12T12:36:08.386-08:00Why RoR ???<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; we are engineers, not scientists, and therefore should attempt solutions that will solve real user problems

a professional programmer has a dedication to the end-user experience; most computer applications built these days are Web applications built by small teams and hence it is now possible for an individual programmer to ensure that end users aren't confused or frustrated (in the case of a programmer working on a tool for other programmers, the goal is defined to be "dedication to ease of use by the recipient programmer")

a professional programmer does high quality work; we preserve the dedication to good system design, maintainability, and documentation, that constituted pride of craftsmanship

a professional programmer innovates; information systems are not good enough, the users are entitled to better, and it is our job to build better systems

a professional programmer teaches by example; open-source is the one true path for a professional software engineer

a professional programmer teaches by documentation; writing is hard but the best software documentation has always been written by programmers who were willing to make an extra effort

a professional programmer teaches face-to-face; we've not found a substitute for face-to-face interaction so a software engineering professional should teach fellow workers via code review, teach short overview lectures to large audiences, and help teach multi-week courses

zhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1127022160495495722005-09-17T22:40:00.000-07:002005-09-17T22:42:40.503-07:00pluckpluk`s far better than bloglines but too slow for me to migrate just because of the better features. da bloglines plumber`s still my palzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1126088800306183872005-09-07T03:18:00.000-07:002005-09-07T03:26:40.313-07:00did ya Know - SexualRevolutionright, yew dint.
chek out all 3 sex revolutionszhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1125832548612273732005-09-04T02:57:00.000-07:002005-09-04T04:15:48.626-07:00Fear of KodeTo sumaarize

Fear of BlakHoles

Fear of Dark

Fear of Krime

Fear of gettin Wet

zhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1125302815695912312005-08-29T00:55:00.000-07:002005-08-29T01:06:55.703-07:00J vs Rtheres an intresting thread (not exaktly thread, but just some klaim-resp-resp kindoff posts) on the issue of RoR being a disruptive tek n whether it is aktually eorth while for fellow developers to leave java n try something as recent n immature as RoR.
in Order
The Innovator's Dilemma: It's Happening to Java
History repeats itself
RoR Tunnel Vision
Java Tunnel Visionzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1125297893200364452005-08-28T23:42:00.000-07:002005-08-28T23:44:53.206-07:00Huh??
Google prefers to build rather than buy

where did that kum frm??? after all they bought??zhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1125295742733242132005-08-28T23:05:00.000-07:002005-08-28T23:09:02.740-07:00Freedom LanguagesFreedom Languages. reminds me of the koncept of freeWill that i keep bringin into my arguments/ diskussions with others to tilt the weights on my sidezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163553.post-1124947395812419322005-08-24T22:21:00.000-07:002005-08-24T22:23:15.816-07:00WS & SOA summarizedzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11692418170943783364noreply@blogger.com1
